Apparenty a normal strut brace wont clear the inlet?

I know robin had a proper lexmaul strut brace, but im never going to find one.

Anyone know if a normal strut brace can be made to fit?

i want to no this aswell, ive been to lazy to spend 5 mins taking my brothers omp strut brace off his and see if it will fit mine, lol
