How to people rate these (mk4 130 and 150), are they worth buying?

My boss has just bought one. He has the 130 version.
Quick enough, trust me! still getting an average of 47-49mpg even driving down the motorway 80mph. Well built too.
Brilliant car.

You can't buy a diesel for a sound.
But, they do pull like a train

New ones seem a bit noisey on tick over. Really nice cars though!
Cost an awful lot for what they are too. Used car market is where it's at

I love my Tdi. Only 110 but for what it is, i love it
Mine is faster than a 1.8 vectra (petrol) with a full exhaust system. [/useless fact]
so i imagine these will be quite a bit quicker

Price difference between diesel and petrol will also make you emitional. Makes me angry when you look at some bint putting 60 litres in for just over £70 and it costs me £46 to put in 35 litres.
