Getting some new wheels next week so want to look after them, we only have wheel acid at work which isn't ideal so whats the best cleaner that is also gentle on the wheels?

Also can anyone recommend wheel wax/sealant stuff? May aswell do that aswell, try and keep them in good nick.

Dont use the auto glym clean wheels, too acidic, the custom wheel cleaner is far softer.

i used some stuff from demon tweeks made by car tec. Its an acid free cleaner. I diluted it slightly and it works great. Think its aout £20 for 5 litres.

Agree with you there. best one ive used.

But i personally dont use wheel cleaners now.most of them are acidic, tarnish and burn the wheels unfortunatly.

Best thing to do is just wash with water and dry. metal polish with autosol/ au-magic (if there the wheel to do that)

and then seal the wheels with a wax/protector like Rimwax
