Well, I would have missed all of ours, because I can't get a face to face appointment, anywhere, till week beginning 11th August. Would have travelled home on the 10th.
Luckily, the chalet we were staying in which is fully catered, is like a time share thing, so they transferred us at no extra cost to the 24th August.
Cost £17 to change EuroTunnel dates. Hopefully can get travel insurance and green card amended without charge. So fingers crossed
I thought I had a 10 year one like my sister. However, I was 15 when applying for adult one (due to a summer holiday) so they only gave me a 5 year one. Badgers.

I did this, but it wasn't me that noticed it was the guy at the checkout at the airport, luckily it was about 6.30am, drove from Manchester to Liverpool, waited for passport thing to open, applied for a 4 hour fast one, waited in Liverpool, picked it up then booked a flight out from East midlands later that day, the Girlfriend was not amused!

Would've been straight in for an appointment if you were an asylum seeker!

My mate got to the airport to be told he had to have 6 months on his passport to be allowed to travel. They wouldnt let him board, he ended up having to get an new passport express/take a flight a week later & ended up paying 1800 quid for a week in Mexico!

I'm not a moron, asylum seekers get fast tracked to get British passports when they apply!

a) which comic did you read that in? The Sun or The Daily Mail
b) you would rather them wandering around with no documents at all so they cannot be traced?
c) no they don't get fast tracked British passports. They aren't British citizens. They may get fast tracked asylum, but that isn't a passport.

Correct. We've had hundreds of them working at our place since 2001, as yet not one has a passport.
