You havent much choice for sending payment in a different currency if they dont accept an online service like PayPal.

i guess i haven't cosmo, but thought it might be worth a try...
i was thinking about doing 0% commission from the post office and sending it insured post, but again, it won't be quick...
rather than pay £20 a pop for 4 tems, i would be better off actually going to germany

no security if you send cash in the post, atleast you'd have some sort of security going via your bank.
Is it from a company? Will they not accept a credit card over the phone?

this is to individuals for items they're selling (on ebay) but they don't have paypal.
i would have the security of proof that i sent the money - although i know this isn't ideal.
i guess i'm trying to get payment sorted for a reasonable price - the cost of all 3 items is about £150 - so that would be £210 sent online through my bank...
hmmm.
any more thoughts? thanks for your help matey!

That isnt security. You send money abroad in cash and you may aswell kiss bye bye to it if they dont send the products.
Im amazed any ebay seller doesnt have paypal tbh, especially because they are linked.

i know what you're saying...
i was going to send the cash by recorded/insured/posh post, but i know that nothing is quite as secure as a bank transfer (or paypal)...
paypal would be the preferred option, i just have to tread carefully because i want these items badly!

Look into Western Union or Moneygram, charges could be cheaper than your bank. And ask your bank for the cost of a bankers draft (although would also need to add onto this the postage cost to send it to them insured.)
