I just hate how everything is so obviously staged / made up.
What I'd love to see is a real head to head race between people. Not in the script someone is meant to win.
i.e. Lets let British win this and Germans win that etc etc... then have a finale where the Stig wins it for the uk etc.
Too rigged.
For example, Drag race = you know which cars going to be quicker over 1/4 mile, so put the 'desired' team in those cars.
etc.

i find it good but when they say, top speed 4mph, 0-60 in longer than it takes a tortoise to move 1 metre then i think it's a bit shit.

Thing is, I like the entertainment, I don't mind them being silly or not going into detail on the spec of the cars. I know the facts already and I know how it works. I like to see fast cars going past and being driven fast.
The show is great, except for the fact everything is false.
Why have a competition at all, or a race. If the winner or result is already decided in a board meeting way before the race takes place. IMO just defeats the point of 'having a competition'.
You imagine being Hammond or May? ... being told you have to constantly act a muppet and have to made to look a complete idiot every episode.
