Autotrader is a false guide... owners estimates are usually higher.

Good condition 2500-700 quid.... there was a Carbic blue one with all the electrics on a M plate going for 1999 round my way.

I wont get anymore than 3200 for mine

Oh thank-you fadcorsa, i know my car is worth that and a lot more, the fact that the milleage is low and it's got 1 previous puts the price up, and it's the last gsi they made.
He seems to think that it don't matter what model the car is?!lmao
