I think the twin engined R5GTT from a few years back was done that way (but slightly better) and the rear engined Escort RST definitely was.

alot if not most are done with that in mind .. isnt the twin engined regal one similar? . i know it used to used cav wishbones on the rear

its just easy to cut out a whole front end of another car tbh, but IMO twin engine cars never work right. If you want a fast car then build on decent engine instead of making it weigh more than the moon.
