Today I realised I've had the same tyres on my car which I've head nearly 2 years. I got a full set of Michelin Energy's when I got the car. They have so far covered 24k miles. Fronts are getting pretty low and will probably need changing in the next 5k, but the rears are still really fine.
So yeah, what is your longest lasting set of tyres?

My boss reckoned the low profiles on his Volvo V50 haven't been changed since the car was new (he is the second owner). He had them done last week at 35k.
Not sure I believe him TBH.
I've not yet had to change a set of tires, sold the 12v just as they needed doing at 22k

i've hardly ever had to buy new tyres.
i don't do a lot of miles, so don't get through loads of rubber, plus i've either changed cars before the tyres have worn out or just bought a different set of wheels and punted on the set with bald rubber.

My old Toyo T1-S would cover about 10k before the fronts needed replacing. I did go to Santa Pod a fair few times though.

Toyo's - 5k
F1's - 5k
Hankooks - 10k
Rainsports - 3k
Edit: That's the fronts. Rears last a lot longer.

Same here, although where i used to live I would have to replace the odd tyre or 2 every 6 months cos some stupid chavs would play the fun game of 'lets leave nails in the road'

tell me about it mate. When I was at uni i couldnt afford big brand tyres (too much money in one hit) so was going through cheap shit tyres in about 3 months but it gave me chance to save for new ones in between
