 Well fun!
The guy who owns it is a racing instructor and also teaches drifting. The boost was 'turned down' on his Apexi thingy, so in reality it was about 400bhp, but still awesome fun. Naturally round MK the back end was out quite a bit, and point to point it was a fucking rocket. Fully stripped out too, just lacking the rollcage and race seats as he takes them out when he isn't racing it.
Been invited to an airfield day out him and his drifting mates have planned soon and naturally I accepted

It's a shed tbh. It's a boggo import R33 with some weird ass back end that I haven't seen before. He dresses it up when he races. Proper rear wing, light wheels, semi cut slicks....

I think the shell might be a GTS. It did have a different engine to the one it comes with as standard. It was a 2.5 24v single turbo straight 6. The back end was weird, I thought it was older than an R33 but he said it was.

What does he race? i.e what series/class ? Do you know his name? Chris?

Still mind going out in AK's Supra when it was circa 480bhp......in wind driven pissy drizzle. Feckin shat my pants, felt like someone had punched me in the neck when 2nd turbo came in.

You'll have to come out in the R32 sometime I dont think its as brutal stright line wise (for now), but it can be driven a hell of a lot quicker round corners etc

Anthony, he lives near Cambridge somewhere. Not really sure what he races. He test drives cars for manufacturers as well as racing. Funnily enough I did mention your skyboat to him.

A guy I know has a 950bhp (ish) Skyline. Not been out in it yet but he owes me a favour and I said I'll wipe it if he takes me out in it.
He ran a 10 second 1/4 mile but he's aiming for a low 9 soon... Mental car.
