So your doing an access course then? You won't get childcare fees grants if your a non-working student.

Isn't your other half a bus driver? Don't you get a free pass?

If by better you mean higher level, you'll either be right for one or the other. You should choose based on your academic position.
Funding you need to discuss with them anyway to find out if you're eligible for fee remission. At your age you normally wouldn't be. Two important things are the level of the course you're going for and how many GCSE at grade A-C that you currently have. Post the links in here.

the one nearest me is health science access course
the one 11miles away is Access to HE OCN Nurse/Midwifery
the nearest one only offers part time over 2 years and is an night which i may strugle to get someone to look after the kids
the other one offers full time course over 1 year and if it is in the day would be alot better as my b/f works night so would be able to look after the kids in the day

They're both HE access courses so my question would be whether both or either allow you entry to the uni course that you want to do. If they both do then choose them on distance or childcare, which may mean you do the closer one.
If you've a long term plan my advice would always be don't worry about the middle bit. Ask both providers what the track record is for putting people on degree courses and who is going where. You can also approach the universities and find out which course they would favour although I would imagine they will say either.
Have you chosen the degree course yet?
