Yes, you're going to die.

On a side note, once you do get your family to sue the council for making you work on it without the proper training/equipment.

Dependent on lots of factors.

The real health risk in the future from exposure is a condition called Mesothelioma. Which isn't pleasant. And occurs some 15 years after exposure -hence UK wise, reaching a peak in terms of incidence round about now.

Main risk is prolonged occupational exposure (talking years...) & To a specific type of asbestos. (Blue asbestos, crocidolite). So I wouldn't worry too much at current. Worth discussing it with your GP though.

I am by no means a legal expert, and so you'd have to seek advice from Citizens advice or someone who knows about these things re. claims etc. Though I must say, from observed experience, asbestos claims are usually taken very seriously and get generous compensations.

weve got a big operation procedure in the fire service about asbestos.

basically its only harmful when you inhale alot of asbestos fibres. like if your working in the dust for a while. best to stay away from it tho

No seriously,

I'm not sure I want to pay for your education (that you ignore)

Or your NHS bill when you get Asbestosis

Ps: two blokes who I worked with have just snuffed it from Asbestosis, dont treat the stuff lightly

yeye, brown is worst stuff, but generaly really tuff, only when you break it, thats when your at risk, because all fibers break up, and get stuck into your lungs.
