just finishing of my CV now and just wondering how you think the best way to set out your qualifications and grades is
curently i have it like this
Mathematics – C
English Literature – C
English Language – C
Double Award Science – C C
Environmental science – D
ICT – C C C C
Double Award Business Studies – C C
Geography – D
would putting it in a table be good as the grades seema bit ... ?? 
i would go to my connexions advisor but she is on holiday the bint

Turn those D's into Cs, and a handful of those C's into B's.

been to college and got my a2 levels
i have never done a cv before and my college were neither use nor ornament in helping me so i dont know how it should be properly set out

Most employers don't care about your GCSE grades if you have A/S or A2 or degree; the GCSE is so distant to the higher qualifications that it doesnt really matter what you got for GCSE French; infact it could be worth just putting the grades for Science, Maths and English and then stating plus X others (grades A-D). They dont know that way wether you got all Ds or all As.
Mine just reads:
GCSE - subject list
- Grades 11 x [A* - B]

I bin any CV which comes in looking like too much effort has gone into its presentations; I had one the other days where the guy's name was in 3" gold text across the top of the page; it looked like he'd spent more time on the format than the content.
You need short, sharp attention grabbing points; tabulating could just be seen as taking up space

You should see some of the things we have done for our CV's at uni. But then these were 'Creative CV's'.

look on word or t'interweb for templates, I've got a good one, but my bro found it
