Goes 1 of 2 ways that though, i did this on my bm and within 2 days of having the signs in it some keyed right down one side of the car after obviously looking at the signs and walking down the side of the car with the key against it

I reckon eBay would be a good place, seeing as it is time limited and people can see when it'd ending, lots of pics, and a good description of it. As long as you have a good title then it should sell, unless you set the reserve too high (if you set one of course). You might have to relist it, but if it doesn't sell the first time then it's free to the second time, as long as it sells. That's the rule with normal stuff, should be the same with cars.

I've only ever sold 1 car through Pistonheads, nearly all my sales come through Autotrader. £20 for 2 weeks on the website and I've never had it let me down..
Forums are useless for selling cars in my opinion.. so are window signs.

My Silver Corsa C proved very very difficult to sell.
Eventually, sold it via ebay the second time I listed it.

You need a street trading licence to sticker your car up or put a note in the window if you intend leaving on a public highway.

You have a point, but it only needs one person to log on nd buy it... You find that all that you get from PH is people wanting swaps etc..
Another tip is to not put youremail in adverts, just have your telephone number. That weeds out timewasters straight away becasue phoning someone takes more balls than clicking a few buttons..
