I have been in this exact situation when I was 19, wasn't working out for us and didn't feel it was right to bring a kid into a messy relationship. She was gutted but she had a termination as it was the best thing for all concerned. I maintain it was the right choice although it was one of the hardest decisions we both ever made. As said, 'he' needs to take it seriously and talk to her about it now to discuss the options as early as possible.

Before Kirsty and I went into anything, we both agree'd that a child was never to be had before we spoke about it.

her mum knows about it but hasn't made her do a test?? ffs she sounds just as bad as the daughter! if she's so sure she's not then why not put her mind at rest straight away - she just sounds like she wants a bit of drama. don't use being 19 as an excuse cos i'm 19 and it doesn't make you retarded she sounds like she needs to grow up!

It was the dip stick that got her into trouble in the first place.
