half the wheel would probably stick out the arch i would of thought
also depend's on the width..
a 2" et3 would probably sit under the arch, but a normal 6" width will stick out a mile etc etc

you can fit any offset of wheel within reason, just once you get below about et40 they start to stick out of the arches and that looks mega crap imo (with the exception of funky euro style jobbies)
