Yeah i wouldn't touch it either. It's not my money though.
I'd be checking a cars tyres with 15k on the clock My Corsa went through two sets of tyres in the 20k i had it

55 plate is quite new still, if it has a good up to date service history it should be good for another 50k

buying high milage cars is a false economy, you buy them cheap but you sell them cheap too.

CORSA C's arnt the greatest for not breaking, so 100k is most likely to have more problems due to wear and tear imo
but if your mate just wants it becuase its cheap and a runaround then go for it, but if he wants to change it and wants reliability i wouldnt bother..
you got pics of it ?? has it got any problems he knows of?

I've had mine for 45k from brand new and *touch wood* it has literally cost me nothing barring consumables like bulbs and tyres and the usual servicing. Starts first time, every time.
I toyed with buying a faster and better car then thought i'd only end up getting annoyed at it breaking down and costing me fortunes to fix. So now i've decided to keep it forever

Which engine?
If it's a 12v or 1.2 16v, it'll need the cam chain doing as per the service book, even if it isn't rattling. I'm sure the cambelt would need doing on a 1.4 too.
If it has a full service history and a good price, then it shouldn't, in theory, be a problem. Plenty of people have bought 100k+ Corsa B's etc if they're cheap enough.

What are the likely things to go wrong with Corsa Cs?
The car is coming with 12 months warrenty as it's from a dealer who also rubs a back street garage.
My Corsa was ace

Mileage doesn't matter. You can have a 100k car in better condition than a 20k car. If it's been fully serviced at the correct intervals it wouldn't bother me. Just means you buy it cheaper and subsequently sell it cheaper.

steering rack and gear linkage seem to be the most annoying problems on the C
