If you're thinking about a second car, get an insurance quote with no bonus, then add the cost of tax and MOT and consider that you've not even turned a wheel yet.

Agreed, 2 cars suck, just get one good one you enjoy.
Unless of course car 1 is a TVR or the likes!

I'd LOVE a convertible. I have whatever my car is worth - somewhere between 4 and 4.5k IMO. Plenty of people think i'll have no problem shifting it with the current fuel crisis...

Can you really afford two cars?
You would be better off selling the ibiza and getting something you actually want cos i dont see the point in the ibiza if you want some comfy and economical

Think I'm guna spend some serious time sorting the little niggles out over the summer on the Ibiza. Give it a couple of months and see what I think.
I thinks its the thing where you see something else and think "I really want that". If you had it, you'd be the same about what you had if you get my drift?

Thought about getting the ibiza mapped? 170bhpish(???) would make it a different car?

It would just be an impulse buy in my eyes which isn't the right option.
Get some mods on the ibiza

Dave, Either get a BMW and not worry about petrol prices and enjoy it while you can, or keep the ibiza and do all the stuff you wanted to do originally.
Yeah he is coming ben

might have to take him for a drive and convince him petrol's are better
