as you go past the Banbury junction and sometimes for a mile north of there i've noticed a fairly pungeant smell lately.
I'd thought it was a yeastu kind of smell and suspected a brewery or bread factory near by.
i came off there to get fuel on Monday and drove past the factory. It's Kraft (of cheese triangle kind of products). Still none the wiser to what would cause the smell, i asked in the petrol station opposite, and apparently they make coffee.
it used to bother me, but i'll be able to sleep now.
any of you noticed it before?

Aaron, you have dietry issues !
That'd explain it Robbo. :thumb: I couldn't see the connection between Kraft and coffee.

Yeah I know the smell as I used to live down in Banbury for a bit.
Its a local thing but no-one knows for certain what they make that causes that smell

came past banbury again today.
can just about pick out the coffee smell, although it's still more like yeast to me.
Also just thought about the Mars factory in Slough where you can smell the chocolate (although i don't actually like chocolate)
