lol judging by the advice in this thread i would seek some proper sources before you tow anything!
A frames and towing dolleys are now limited to recovery use only especially the dollys and have lots of other speed and road restrictions on them too.
Even if you put it on a trailer you will struggle on your licence.
Ive never heard of the 2 wheels thing to me and it makes no sense.. id have a good look at that point tbh
Im not giving out any facts in this post because im not 100% and id advise if you arent you make some sound enquires first

right i can tow upto 750kg,we have twin axle trailers (four wheels)at work which when empty i can tow.so does this mean it need's tax?from what i have been told if your towing a car with a solid tow bar it becomes a trailer so it won't need tax so as long as it's under 750kg you should be ok?may be wrong though.

You need insurance, tax and MOT for any car on the public highway.
If you get these, you can tow it so long as the car you are using to tow is heavier than the one you are towing but the whole combo weighs less than 3.5t. I also fear there is some clause somewhere that says you can only recover a vehicle locally as there is a distinction between recover and transport and what you are proposing falls in to the latter as you weren't en route when the car became immobile. You may be limited to how far you can drive, but I'm not sure on that.
Personally I would find someone with B+E and hire a trailer. Far less messing about with people and passengers, probably cheaper and certainly safer.

yea as ian said...the car being towed must have everything as if it was being driven normally.
I needed to tow my GSi back about half a mile a month ago and spoke to the police about it...they said it needs everything.
