i had the exact same one to mine fitted, i found it crap felt slugish and less responsive with that on compared to the original! but as long as your happy

I found the same thing, managed to get some z18xe decat manifolds in very cheap and tested one, gained power between 6200 and the limiter (a few BHP) but lost torque massively from 1500-4000 rpm and gave a lower acceleration rate on the dyno.

however, this depends massively on the manifold itself, I made a z18xe manifold using one of my Comp spec x16xe items with a z18xe flange made up for it, it gave great results but I have no plans to make any more.

I did design a manifold specifically for the z18xe, using my lotus engine simulation software and basing the design on standard cams the manifold needed very long primaries to work well.

Def feels better... pulls harder and smoother.

Shame a never ran it up the strip before fitting it cos i'd be able to compair it with another run.
