try get a Astra Mk3 one mate....exactly the same......but the cable is abit longer.....which means it's harder to break

one side to the gearbox.....the other to the speedo.....take the old one out!

remove the battry...it is possible....i had to do it 3 times because of the way i was feeding it to the speedo...it always snapped
