How much roughly to get engine/gearbox/loom, get it fitted & running???
mate had a redtop said never get one there hassle. another mate has one and loves it
Are they worth the money?
Help me make up my mind

if its done right it should be as reliable as it was in the car it came out of . budget about 1100 - 1300 for it all

could easy do it cheaper and do a very good job for that price. id do it myself. before i put my let in i had only done miner things on my car. if you get stuck theres always people around to help

true anything up to £1500 my first one i done for just over £450 quid lol ive had 4 xe corsas and never had a problem either with running or the quality of the job of fitting the engine, theres some engines floating about that are pure dogs which is maybe what you mate ended up with
get and good engine and keep it serviced and looked after properlly and it wont let you down

has anyone been able to keep there aircon? or is there deff no room in the engine bay for it?
