Author problem with tomtom one.. help

i have a tomtom one v3..

and when i turn it on i get the insert sd card.. so i put it in then it loads an then shows it pulling out the SD card with a red X over the card..

any ideas??

Have you tried using the software to reset or restore the card? Is this possible

Im thinking possibly the data on the card could be corrupted or something

Have you tried filling it with vodka, I heard it turns on it's automatic homing device.

My sat nav has a little hole you can push a biro into which adopts all the default settings, see if yours has one...

i have got the software back on but now i dont have any maps. (im useing another SD card)

so now i need to find the uk and ireland maps to put onto the card..

any help?
