Such as at PVS just gone when the LETs were going down the stip, what makes them pop and bang when changing 1st to 2nd is it just hitting of the limiter or is it something else?

It will of been them hitting the limiter as first gear is pretty useless in LET corsas especialy when they are running high power.

Its safer for an LET to run rich, if they run lean they die very fast

I thoguht lean was rich
Whats that mean then? Its ok for them to overfuel but if they get too little fuel they risk being damaged?

Yeh, if they come on the boost and dont have enough petrol a turbo car will break

Underfueling on a turbo just isnt good at all, will die rather quickly if they do.

If you read anything by Dave Walker he raves on about how people fear overfueling cars, going on about bore wash, but the reality is a slightly rich mix is safer/better. Even more so if its turbo'd

1st gear on a let is wired in right should have a 1st gear boost limiter anyway.
