What a genius idea, and it seems to have worked ok

When someone pays for something on eBay, you can pay for Royal Mail and other postage out of your PayPal account, so you don't have to wait for the money to transfer before you're own bank account is back to normal etc.

I now realise this is probably a very pointless thread

Been an option for a while. Tis pretty neat, altho i've not used it as of yet as i'm guessing you can't do recorded.

Yeah, you can, I've just done something Special Delivery. You still have to go to the Post Office and get the sticky label for that and it put in the system etc, you just don't pay.

Could also be difficult in terms of weighing things. Luckily my mum has digital weighing scales in the kitchen

Fair enough, altho pointless if you still have to go to the PO. Who's that hard up they can't afford £2 postage before it hits their bank account?

Me no, it was £6 this thing.

With all the stuff I'm selling at the moment, some is dad's, some is mine, but it's all going into a biking holiday fund. So it's handy as I won't have to work out what postage I'm owed etc

Yeah, there's definately a plus side. But for the occasional seller like myself it's not very beneficial.

I wasn't implying you were hard up either

Don't worry.

Well, it was successful, except, I walked in and said I have pre-paid, just need the Special Delivery sticker & tracking. He looked at me as if I had 3 arms and 3 legs. Fucking muppets. I take it that it isn't used much here. Then he couldn't find the address.

And what do you know, 1 search on Google Maps finds the address

I need to send a bike. Have trouble weighing it though. Should work on the home weighing scales. Then just ad a couple of kilos for good measure
