I've been offered a job in a garage which is all fine and dandy as i've been redundant 3 weeks now and havn't been able to find another job. The only catch is that there is no definite wage every week. Basically what jobs i can get in, my wages are a percentage of them. Plus its a new and starting up garage but right on a main road so loads of potential and i have 2 ramps and all the equipment provided bar my own tools.
Should i go for it? I havn't got anything to lose really...

Yeah, but i just wonder if i should hold on instead in case another job pops up because i could do with a definite wage every week for car insurance, rent and petrol etc.
I might ask the gaffer if he could throw £50 or something myway every week so i have at least something to take home. (He owns 2 tyre and exhaust fitting garages so he's not skint)

Dependant upon the percentage, then yeah I'd do it.
