Was flicking through the music channels and theres some new video called Stay by me (or some other shit). It would appear that he's trying to get a serious message across, but he thinks that by having the chipmunks singing, it helps.

Akon also had the wierd singing chipmunks in one of his songs and i'm sure that Shayne Ward did too?

Seriously, what is it with them?

probably because people laugh at it and will remember the song by saying ''oh yeah that song that sounds like the chipmunks are singing''

Yes, R&B is indeed shite, as is garage. But either way, how are you supposed to take some "gangsta" with his bitches and ho's seriously, when you have Alvin, Simon and Theodore singing in the background

To be fair though, that Ironic song. There was a live version played on Radio1 with a woman singing the chipmonk bit and it was really good.
