alright all. Placed a bet on paraguay to beat brazil at 4/7. I put a 10 pound bet down. What would i get back? Thanks!

you sure thats right? I did a check on the online calculater and it come up with a 90 pound profit! Because come on whats the chance of paraguay beating brazil? You sure thats right?

4/7 1st number is the amount you will win if your stake is the second number??

so 7 pund stake = 4 pound return plus your original stake =11pounds..

ive confused my self here

4/7 means put £7 on to get £4 back. So a tenner wont bring back £90 mate.

Some sites (if thats what you used) have a calculator so you can work out what your comeback will be. I'm with Ladbrokes and they have one.

Divide your stake by the bottom number then times it by the top, for future reference.

Thats very very very short odds for a team to beat brazil. Even £10 and 7/4 doesnt come back with £90 - think u should check again mate
