Number of litres used / 4.8 (To get number of gallons used)
Number of miles done / Number of gallons used = MPG

47/4.8=9.79
300/9.79 = 30.6mpg
30 mpg at 65/70mph all way there and back

But you said you used £42 quids worth. At 114.9ppl thats about 36.5 litres off the top of my head.
So thats 7.7 gallons?
300/7.7 = 38.9 mpg?
All off the top of my head?

I got 41 mpg from leaving Cardiff, getting to Santa Pod, touring the fields for an hour looking for somewhere to park and then getting back to Oxford.
