Previous owner had a little dink (not even enough to crack the bumper). He bought a new bonnet and sprayed it with cans and it's really stiff when opening. Is this just badly fitted or do you think he's bent the actual chassis? There's a big gap between bumper and car but I think that's just the bumper (I'm praying it is, anyway). Has anyone ever had a front end crash in their B and had it repaired? How hard is it to actually completely fook the front end? Are the arches welded on? They look straight but they don't seem to look straight comparing them to the headlights...

Here's a pic... The bumper got damaged on the right (viewing the car from the front). You can see the gap I mean in the photo.
I'm a bit silly really. I bought the car without thinking 'cus I knew I wanted a different bumper anyway. Hopefully the bumper is making it look worst than it actually is!

arches arent welded on afaik, bumper looks fine could just be the arch is a bit bent. wouldnt of thought it would be a bent anything under the car if thats the only damage to the bumper.
saying that the light doesnt look like its sitting right so it could be both the arch and the bumper need replacing.

To give you an idea:

No chassis damage
The crash the previous owner had might not have been the only crash however

Probably the slam panel where the light sits in is bent, just bend it back.
