Im looking for a Corsa 1.2 SXI for my nephew any pointers common problems i should look for?


He wants elec windows, power steering and alloy wheels.
Also what can i get for £2800 ?

Edit: SXi is the top model 1.2, but you can get lower models with what you ask for, should be cheaper too. It's up to him really, there's a lot of choice out there.

Didn't notice the "loses: Air conditioning" and "as SXi, plus ABS" on the SRi bit some how

No problems as of such. Listen out for noisy cam chains. Not a major problem but bit of a pain/expense to get fixed.

For £2800 you will get a Corsa C. Whether it's SXi or not and in good condition is another matter. It definitely won't be facelift either.

Yeah in Wales

Im in the North East area and had a bit look around for Corsas and theres bloody loads of them so shouldnt be to hard to find something.

Just spoke with the nephew he wants something with lower mileage so hope to get and 03 with around sub 40k on clock.

I've got two recalls to do, one... abs. Two something dodgy

Everytime i open / close the car with the keyfob or start the car, it makes a knocking noise like a woodpecker
