Bought another 2002 impreza last week and the paintwork is shite and its been keyed, got a quote off a mate of £750 for a full re-spray and thats also sorting out cracked front bumper and putting on an sti spoiler and painting. You this is is a good price ? i am thinking id be able to get it cheaper also his work can be a bit iffy at times and i want it mint. Going to phone round a few tomorrow if anyone can reccomend any decent not too expensive bodyshops.

Not a bad price i suppose, but get some more quotes anyway, better off paying more if you want it looking mint.

Ild of said £750 is on the cheap side personally. and ive learnt, you pay for what you get. for a car that size, most places your looking at 1.2k-1.5k?

even if i was getting a full respray in the same colour, i'd want every panel that can come off the car off. for 750 it sounds like most things are going to be masked up and soft edged, i.e every door shut is going to have a hardline running along the edge of it.

pay more get more
