Put a gear down through the bottom of me gearbox on my 1.2 8v. Was driving fine apart from the steering was going dodgy and a cracking noise. Thought it was the rack or bent something as I had just hit a pothole at 50mph

Got an sri engine with 16 bent valves, snapped timing belt at flat out in second and some nice 4 marks on each piston. Pics to follow

This piece was just poking through the hole in the sump.

Spot the remains of a partial rod bolt.

Even the dipstick tube took some to the point you can drag the block around the garage floor by the dipstick!

Crimp-tastic.

my mate blew up his ka turbo on the way to fiesta in the park the other week..

doing 140mph and it ran itself lean, put a hole threw the 4th piston and blew the end cap off the cam, coverd the motorway and the windowscreen in oil....

as there was oil all over the discs aswell it didnt want to stop, but he managed to pull over onto the hard shoulder..

scrapping the 1.6 cvh efi turbo and going for a 2.0 zvh turbo...

i ruined the main shaft in my gearbox. basically shredded it too bits i got told.
