yeah i know where your coming from but it was a better choice then leaving it in the middle of the road
there were only 2 lanes working because of the roadworks and wouldve been pretty dangerous leaving it sitting there

As soon as it was out of the roadworks you should have stopped driving and then called for help. I'm not saying what you did was totally wrong but as soon as you were out of the roadworks you should have stopped.
Hopefully you won't get a hefty penalty for this

the next town past the roadworks was about 5 mile away, i mustve drove about 1 mile pas the roadworks to meet up with the guy that was towing me

say the police would of mistaken it for a abandoned car if you had of left it on the side of the road, your mate was a mile up the road so ya thought ya would take it there

lol scott, the thing is i couldnt have left it at the side of the road, it was reduced from 3 lanes to 2
there wqere barriers at the side of the road so there was no where to push it

Id have probably done the same thing you did mate in that situation.
Unfortunately you got caught. You'll get 6 points and a £200 fine.

At the end of the day you were on the road without insurance, MOT & tax.
It's 7-10 points for no insurance, and I got 8 for having no insurance.
God knows what you'll get for not having anything.

I know a few people who have been done for no insurance recently and its 6 points and £200 fine.

Did you get any pictures of where the car would have been if you left it? At least you might be able to present them in court and explain why you thought it would be best to move it.
