they just counted how many it could fire in a second, and multiplied it by 60. Instant fail on their part, I wanted to see 1,000,000 rounds.

Then it doesn't have the potential to do it, considering it was probably boiling hot after the first shot... I doubt it could do that continiously for 60 seconds.

and how else would they measure it, rounds per second? things are measured to compare i.e. 0-60 on cars

Not at the exact same time though. Auto guns fire one after another. This fires all at once. If we knew how many it shot out with one trigger-pull, then that would be more impressive... Which according to my calculator, is 16666.6666666666666666666666666667 rounds per second.
