Sorry peps, i no it is asked all the time. but i just want to know whats try and whats not on the 2.0 conversion.
Well ibe got my eyes on a 1.6 16v GSi, and also have a 2.0l turbo calibra but its coverd in rust. so my plans are to swop engines. so what i want to know is whats needed and is there any guides out there.
will the whole ingintion, key/switch/ECU all need changeing?
strengthing plates need to be welded ect?
any special tools im gunna need? apart from feeler gauges, torqes dti aftherwards ect... would it be better to swop ever thing over inc the drive shafts hubs ect?
any bulkhead cutting issues?
