Can you still get them from vauxhall and is the deal you have to just part ex them an engine the same but doesnt matter the state its in?


Anyone know a rough price for one from them?

part ex bare engine (head and block etc) and thats what you get back..

about £1200-1400

1400 inc vat last time i had one that was 2.5 years ago though

So is that fully rebuilt with everything changed?

that was a let that i had, dont think an xe would be any different as there basically the same in that state

when u say head and block, do you mean all internals aswell?

i can just see when i go into vauxhall that they are not going to have a clue when i ask them about it.

I have a few xe`s i could part ex them with. Just want a brand new engine for my kadett then to put my webber 45`s on.

yes, they'll probably want a fully built up one, more than likely, minus sensor's wiring loom, and ancilleries, like dissy, alt, pas, etc etc

best option, is to sign up to mig or PNG and pm Keith Robinson, as he going on from them recently for his let build
