Today when he was helping get the EVO (or its remains) on a low loader he severed a tendon in his hand, so now has to go into hospital to get it fixed

i think they made 28 extremes and only a handful were upgraded with the rs450 package so i doubt he will be able to find a replacement

Too right mate. It's a horrible thing to happen, especially to all three.

Spot on, nothing can replace sentimental value.

what a waste.

i put money on the theives planning on stealing it, taking it somewhere & stripping it for bits.

Upon realising they couldnt get it going & having prints / dna all over car they decided to torch it.

gutted.

After reading the entire thread, only 4 cars in the world had the RS450 package - but I only have the word of the member who posted it... Seeing as its an dedicated Evo forum however, makes me doubt that they're lying.

Funny guy eh Words cannot describe how crushed you would be

Plus, if you read the thread - which you clearly haven't, you would know that he himself painted those double yellows on himself as it's a private road and the occupiers were getting fucked off with non residents parking there and making it difficult for them to get out of their spaces.
So it would of made fuck all difference as the double yellows aren't goverment applied ones, just an attempt to stop people parking there who shouldn't be.

This really is sickening, can't imagine how he must feel

I'd wanna do some serious damage to someone if they did that to my Corsa never mind the cars he's got.
