put 1 of those nice new vauxhall 1.9tdi engines in a corsa b? i think it would be interesting to see this done with a tuning box ect would be quite quick i think

The ones out of the astra CDTI? I dont think a Veccy lump would fit

I would imagine people who do engine convertions want to 'drive' the car, derv's aint for propper drivers

Thats a load of balls tbh.

The 172 has absolutely nothing at all before 4k rpm giving you about 3k rpm of a rev range, my fabia had nearly that but I didn't have to thrash the balls of it.

Or are proper drivers defined by needing to drop down 3 gears to make any progress?

i think that torque in a corsa would be awesome, wouldn't the 2.2dti be better tho?
