Im looking to lower my 1.6 corsa sport to 60mm, but not sure what springs, or what lowering kit to get.
I dont have a lot to spend, and have heard that gmax are pretty shit from some people.

So any recomendations for a cheep lot of springs etc?

You get what you pay for. Gmax are shit, but they do the job for not much money.

Gmax are a good budget kit tbh.

My mates had them on his corsa over 4 years now never having any problems with them.

and personally i wouldnt say the ride quality is that bad.

Yeah i know.

But to be honest, i dont know any makes/models or prices of any so i cant really compare!

E.g. What would a step up from gmax be?



Oh and i have got gmax springs -45mm on my other corsa, just wanting something better quality

Simple solution

Bilstein B10 kit, ask on here for peoples opinions on the kits I have sold them, nothing comes close for the money.

^ How much do you sell them for dave?

Just had a check, and the equivilent gmax kit is £100 cheeper, so it looks like it is definatly worth spending that £100 more to get the better kit

Looks like im going to have to get used to the fact im going to be paying £300 odd

I got the Bilstein B10 kit from Dave he did a good price, and the kit itself is a massive improvement over what i had before (just lowering springs) the kit handles really well and absorbs bumps well.

If youve got the cash its well worth getting a decent fixed rate kit such as the B10.

I Have Just Got Jamex Front And Back Springs And Shocks For Lowering My Corsa By 40mm For £110 with £15 Postage It Was The Same For 60mm

because as from experience, as soon as I post up a price, someone digs the thread up 6 weeks later and expects them for that price, prices change all of the time on car parts so I give people the best possible up to date price
