I've got a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2! I've had it a few months now. I've tought myself how to drive with my dads help of course! I had my 2nd lesson the other day and he told me i'm ready for my test and there isn't really much he can teach me! But anyway i can't book my test as i haven't done the theory!

I'm not the smartest of people and i'm worried i wont pass it! At £21.50 i don't want to keep having to go back spending alot of money on it! I think 50 questions is a bit to much as you have to get 45 i think!

I've brought the Theory cd disk for the pc and been doing it once a day but still cant pass it at home lol

Any help?

reading the highway code helps A lot of the questions are common sense though. Also its £28.50 for a car theory test-I did mine in January (was ready for it before my birthday though)

I got a dvd off amazon for about a tenner, practiced quite a bit and got all the questions right, it all comes down to practice mate.

I've done two though (did bike one last year) so knew what to expect

Practice until you're getting most of the questions right, do some hazard perception practice until you do well at that, then do some mock tests. Do one the day before as well and you'll be all set

My instructor lent me a cd before I did mine, I just did a few tests every night, soon got the hang of it. I was gutted when I did the actual test the first time, we had to get 30 out of 35 on the questions and I think it was 48 out of 75 on the hazard perception (that part hadn't been going long), I got 35 out of 35 on the questions and 47 out of 75 on the hazard perception gutted, perfect on one part, and one point under on the other, got another booked straight away and passed it that time
