Has anyone had a stage 1 remap on the 1.8T engine.

Claims to take power from 150 -207hp but improves the Torque curve to 240 Ft.lbs

Not sure I thought Mk4/A3 (our shapes) was 5x100 & Mk5 golf was 5x112

You might need adapters.

You can get 2nd hand CH's much much cheaper than (ask Matt H) that and there's loads of LM replica's kicking about at the minute.

Prob would be about that, its the same engine as the 180bhp version in the golf? Possibly a different turbo.

Depends where you want to go with it tbh & how much you want to spend if you think its worth it. Im done spending on my tdi golf, finished & id prefer it to be reliable than faster

03 onwards golf uses 5x112, yours and colins are 5x110. You could fit them using wobbly bolts to take up the 2mm.

I'd rather hunt out a 2nd hand or replica set of BBS than stick some crap wheels on cos they are cheap.

I think the RS4s on your Golf look nice BTW
