Went up there for a ride this afternoon as it was starting to cool off, as I wasnt with anyone I couldnt get any action shots but I got a few general ones to give you an idea of what the trail is like. If you are thinking about comming to Wales for a ride then you MUST come here, it really is a cracking trail

Looks like a nice route, but a bit tame.

Dont be fooled, all my pictures are at the start of sections so they are flat. But its not the most wild XC trail in UK....

Rus do you go over the other side of Cannock? Some decent trails over there, not all that long but a fair few of them. As well as the offical downhill stuff there is some unofficial routes that are awesome

U2U me if you want some directions on where to find them, FTD is ok but not the best in cannock by a long shot

Doug, have you done the leg burner yet? I was doing the time trial up there on Tuesday. Takes you from the valley floor to the top

Did Brechfa on Monday. Its much more freeride compared to round here. Less natural, less rocks and roots and more burms and tabletops.

Downhilling in the dark is easy. Well, I say that, you just can't see the stuff that'd normally make you shit your pants
