They have two next to each other (and about 5 Palace hotels in Cancun) and I know one side has Jacuzzi's, and the other has Hamocks. That one may well be called something different though.

Make sure you make use of the golf buggy's to take you around the resort. And if you want the best service from them (i.e. they always take you and no one else) give them some of the free burgers you can get at lunch

Do you think I'll need much spending money? My mate was in cancun a few years ago & is going back this year & said 600 bucks is enough between us 
Can you hire Golf clubs etc? I fancy a round on the Jack Nicklaus designed course.

The hotel itself has all the branded drinks as part of its all inc. bar menu, so you'll get decent beers and decent spirits.
Outside of the hotel though its hit and miss. Some bars will be a fortune and some will be dirt cheap. A lot of the hotels are all inc. over there so the bars near them charge a lot to make some cash, whilst others are the 'spring break' type places

I doubt we'll go out into town much for drinking/going out as the hotels got it all & has been paid for. Might go a few trips though, I like boats
