Hi, I have been pondering... This may be a silly question to you lot lol but when I change my standard head unit for a CD player, will the mfd still work?? Not bothered about it saying which radio station it's on as it'll say that on the head unit, but will the temperaure and time still work??

you can also make the Date show up, as it does when the stereo is turned of by cutting one of the wires but cant remember which one.

your best off trying to see which wire branches off up towards the MFD, theres only 2 it could be but i cant remember which colour they are.
the lower block are all speaker wires and the upper block are Constant live, Switched live, Earth and 2 more.
