Ive been offered a BMW by a mate whos recently been banned, its mint in and out but has 105k miles on it. hes after £1200 but ill try and get it for £1000 if its all ok. Its not speed im after so thats not an issue, i sold my car recently and im after a replacement for a few months to a year while i sort my finances out - hadn't even given bmw a thought and had been looking at Fiestas & Corsa for about the same mentioned price.

So anyone had a beemer (316 Coupe) with high miles? Things i should/need to look out for? Stay away froms etc etc as im going to view it tomorrow afternoon

Thanks, Matt

Compared to your Corsa's and VTS's a 4pot beemer isnt very fast at all.

TBH if your nearly 25 surely a 325 or something similar would be better?

LOL, a BMW 316 with 105k isnt high miles.

Guy next door has a 316i Coupe 230,000. His Bmw runs better than his wifes 54 plate Focus.

Buy it.

I was asking what it was like on Petrol not saying that it was bad, just assumed it was. Maybe he was maybe he wasnt, better than being a plain cunt who thinks hes funny though isnt it
