I've recently been put on steroids for a pretty serious illness that i was diagnosed with a couple of weeks back. But the past few days i've been having some shitty side effects. I dont know if they're anything to do with the steroids or not?

I keep sweating loads, my hands, armpits etc. Got a greasy face too.

I'm always eating/hungry, non stop.

And i'm getting a bit spotty on my chest and back.

Are these common effects? Had a look at the instruction leaflet but just says about wierd dreams and getting fat

I used to be on steroids with a medical condition.

I was hungry all the time, and generally more energetic. So could be yes.

Cool, didn't know if it was to do with my illness or the steroids.

Hopefully i'll be better soon and can come off them, but then again could be ages. Dont want to get more spots But if it means me not bleeding to death then i can cope for a while

Do you know the type of steroids you've been prescribed?

As whittie says, get down to the gym and move a few weights around.

Not sure how long really, got another blood test on monday so will find out if i'm better and going to gradually take me off them or if they're going to keep me on them or remove organs But i've been on them for 2 and half weeks now.

I just sit there and my hands are dripping with sweat

I was on them for medical reasons a while back. Only effect for me was the weight gain. Can get a bit moody though.
