Those old Merc SLKs have hundred of faults, for the 8K the misus was spending on a car the 206 won hands down, ok more expensive newer models might be much better.
In the year the misus has owned the CC not one problem or fault.
The old SLKs dont even have leather, this is how cheaply made and produced they are.

Merc's were shit for the past few years up until recently, the pug probably was better built.

Behave...most SLK's may not of been specced up due to tight yuppies but my god I bet they are put together better than a Pug

mercedes make tanks, my mums has aircon heated 2tone leather aluminium dash a proper engine and a ride quality a 2009 peugeot could only dream of.
I personaly owned a merc c240 for 18months and altho the dash plastics lacked the tactile feeling of those in a bmw for eg. It was a tank. 70k on an s plate not one rattle or noise anywhere. German cars are FAR better built than any other car by a country mile. Hence their popularity and desirebility!

well IMO the 8K was far better spent for us on a 206 over the SLK
