They're slow. A Corsa Sport beats them
They're nice to drive (friend says in work), and I think the interior is cool, not too cheap looking and all plasticky
It wouldn't be the first thing on the list for my girlfriend. have you looked at other cars?

Another car I've driven recently! This one was a dealer special which came with Toora wheels.
I thought it was superb to drive, keen and revvy and the interior was quite nice with climate etc.

Funnily enough, The girl who has the Swift, her boyfriend has the VTS and my mate also just bought a 07 plate C2 VTS.
I'd have a Swift all day long before even looking at a C2.

Its actually on par with a 1.6 sport if not quicker. Its a tad heavier but much much much much better car all round. Highly rated little car by the general motoring press.

C2's will depreciate like lead balloons good cars all the same. I would prolly get the C2 HDi VTS as it prolly will have strong residuals
Out of them two though Swift any day of the week.
I would also look at the Fiat Panda 100HP I would own one of these over both of the above...seriously good car!

Dont by a C2 Vts. Not half as quick as everyoe raves about and they fall apart (and im not just saying that as a general term for a shit car, they genuinly fall apart (mates dash is loose....door cards fall off etc)
O yer and its in the Shitroen garage with gearbox problems after 13k

I have driven 2 of these, well built, loads of room inside and cool little cars. not very quick but a nice all round car. wouldnt buy a new one, would wait about 6 months untill they start coming up for resale on the 2nd hadn matket and save a few grand.
